The veil that separates us from these nocturnal beings, the owls, the nightjars, the mice, the faeries, is at its thinnest in the moonlight. Nighttime is their time, and they are full of secrets. This is an ode to their darkness, their secrets, and the glimpses of their magic that may be seen only in the bitter stillness of deep blue, when night opens itself.
